This week students will be learning about the different parts of a blog. Students will be labeling a diagram of a blog using a word list. It is important to be familiar with the vocabulary before you start creating your own blog. How blogs look and feel vary. You will be checking out a variety of blogs so you can get some ideas for your own blog. Ask yourself what you like and what you don't like about the blogs you are exploring. This will help you design and plan your own blog.
In addition, students will be given a list of blog resources to check out. One of these is a great blog which is the creation of a 10 year old. This blog was nominated for the Edublogger Student Blog of the Year Award last year. The name of the blog is, "Thinking About..."
